Sara Jacobson is the Global Head of Client Engagement in the Global Business Consulting division at American Express GBT. She has been with GBC since 2017 initially leading client projects in Travel Program Management, Optimization and Policy before transitioning to a role in Business Development. In 2020, Sara joined the GBT Account Management Team as the Global Client Manager for The Walt Disney family of companies. As of 2022, Sara returned to her GBC roots as the Global Head of Client Engagement, regularly delivering insights and guidance to customers across the globe. A graduate of DePaul University, Sara began her career in Finance and Accounting, ultimately cutting her teeth in travel as a buyer for a Private Equity firm, where she learned the nuances of a managed travel program, strategic sourcing, and complex program management. Sara is an active Crossfitter, hiker, rock climber, and overall adventure seeker. She lives in Northern Illinois with her husband, Karl, step-son Aiden, daughter Lilah, and pup Charlie.
